I bought this comb for my 15 year old son. His hair is very thick. He's letting it grow out a bit and he has just a little bit of natural curl to his hair. Needless to say, it get's tangled up quite a bit when he's sleeping or during football practice, etc. He loves this comb. He uses it in the shower while he's letting the conditioner do it's work. Even when his hair is dry and a bit tangled, he can use this comb with ease without hurting his head.
