While these are so, so fabulous, the only thing I have to complain about is even though some of the color are exactly the same as the Nyx singles, the color pay-off found in the trios is not as bright. With that said, I still have to rave. This is a cheaper way to get a hold of a trio of colors without paying $5 each for them. These trios are around $6 on their own, so you're getting a deal. I have Perpetual, Team Spirit, and Hippie Chic and they are all very impressive. They blend nicely too, although, not as well as the singles - I can't complain for the price, though. I am absolutely in love with Nyx cosmetics - it only makes sense to totally rave about their single shadows. I have Black, Taupe, White, Rust, and Champagne and they are all amazing. These shadows are super pigmented, comparable to the Mac ones that I have tried, and they all last as long as you have them on a base of some sort. Not only do these stay on, but even before that, they apply like butter. These blend so, so well with one another, it's unreal. I can't rave enough about the application. I generally use a blush and they simple glide into each other. They are very inexpensive, too. I believe they run at about $5 now, and they are available most anywhere online. I would recommend these to veteran makeup users and beginners alike, they're wonderful. Rating: 10 |

In moderation, this gloss is really pretty. I have Candlelight and over any of my nude lippies, this works like butter. It provides a nice, even shine without getting too goopy. If I use just a hair too much, though, it goes a bit sticky, but that is easily fixed. For $1 or so, it's a great gloss to throw in your purse when you're going out. I would definitely recommend this to any beginner. Really, all ELF cosmetics are fun to experiment with. Rating: 6 |

I really like this lip color - I have it in Raspberry and that shade is a deep pink w/ pretty golden shimmer. It looks great in the tube and on the lips, which is an unlikely combination for me, I sometimes can't get both that look good, haha. But I do love it. I can't comment on price because this was a gift, but I do believe this lipcolor has been discontinued, which is sad - the color pay-off is fabulous and it took three hours, approx., to fade at all on me. That is very, very unusual in a lipstick, but oh well :/ I still have Raspberry and I'll use it sparingly until I find a good deep-pink replacement. Rating: 7 |

Though this cleanser took a good week to clear up my face, it did, and with flying colors. I truly do long for the scent of this stuff in the morning - very cucumber/melon, I adore it. It is great as a morning cleanser because it really does wake you up, essentially. I have the one in the pump bottle and when you're just getting up and fumbling around half-asleep, this is great, haha. Shouldn't take the practical packaging for granted. But it is a great cleanser and it does work on those daily blemishes we sometimes wake up with. It also doesn't leave my skin ridiculously tight like most cleansers do, and that was really a nice aspect. I think this runs at about $6 in drugstores, so it's wallet-friendly, too. Rating: 8 |

Faaabulous liquid liner on a budget! I can't say enough about this liner. I have the black and on the top-lid, this is great for that pin-up or smokey eye. It glides on so smoothly, no tugging, and it dries quickly. It's easy to wing with the brush tip, I could never do it just right w/ a pencil liner, but this does wonders. It has wonderful color pay-off, and it goes absolutely no where once you have it on. It truly is water-proof - it's the liner I turn to when it rains, haha. The only thing I can take it off with is baby-oil. Some would consider that a drawback, but I think that is how this liner is supposed to work - water-proof means it shouldn't budge. =] I would recommend this not only to beginners, but to makeup veterans as well - it's fabulous. I have this in Strawberry Fizz, and there is absolutely no better strawberry-candy fragrance. This is super-sweet in scent and it lasts lightly all day on whatever you spray it on. Some might consider it too strong, but in moderation, it's fabulous. It's not too expensive, either, I think I paid $12 for my bottle if I'm not mistaken. It was worth it - great scent in not only this one, but the others I've tested smell just like their titles. Fabulous budget-friendly spritz. Rating: 8 |

Who doesn't love a bright array of cheap polishes to choose from? I have this in Black Rage and the bright lime green, whose name escapes me right now, and both are fabulous. They both are opaque in two quick coats. The dry-time is a little better than most drugstore polishes, and the wear is very nice for the first couple of days. A top-coat is needed for extended wear, but other than that, this polish is great to have if you want to experiment with color. This line carries some super unique shades! Rating: 8 |

Although it is nicely pigmented the blush is difficult to blend. It took me a while to get it blended enough to wear out. It doesn't work well enough for the price tag. Rating: 4 |

This blush is very natural looking which is a major plus in my books. It is easy to use and has a smooth finish. It is very convenient having brush and blush together. Blush is sheer and compact. Although I have no idea on how to tell when the the blush is running out. Rating: 7 |
