Have you heard that Michael Jackson's 3 kids are headed to private school this fall? Personally, I applaud the decision. They need some kind of normalcy in their lives.

I agree also. How sad the things those young children have had to endure. I really hope that they do well.

I agree that it's a good idea... as long as they're *treated* like the other children. Sadly, I think the problem with that would come from teachers and not other students.

Yes, I cannot even imagine what those children will go through in their efforts to become part of society. Their dad really made an effort to keep them from it all. I can see his reasons for doing so, but was it really for the kids' advantage?

finally you cannot keep anyone away from the 'dangers of the society' really...their dad did try to make the effort but i think it is far more important for them to start learning to deal with public pressure now rather than get a jolt as adults....and surely turn in a far worse situation

I agree. I suspect that they children would want to have a more normal type of life also.
Sad situation all around, I hope it turns out ok.

that is for sure oceangypsy...have seen plenty of star kids...trying to avoid the limelight they get and the pressure they are in just because of their famous parents...but then they learn the tricks to handle the situatiion..and sometimes even get more famous than their parents when they were of that age...look at Suri..!

Absolutely. It's good to see these three able to live a more regular life. I understand why Michael had kept them underwraps. Sadly, this is an odd benefit of his death. That is even sadder to realize.

I understand MJ's reasoning, too... and we have no idea what kinds of threats he may have faced. I think I'd make the same choices (no, I'm *sure* I would) if my children were the #1 target of kidnappers in the free world. Nothing's worth never seeing them again just so society wouldn't look down on me for sheltering them.
