Hi Catje11111 and thanks for the question.

Good for you honey, they always say you’re only as old as you feel. Ok, Hairstyle: There are so many styles that look great these days its so hard to find one you think you're going to like. When you have a round face, your goal is to add some definition and play down the roundness of your cheeks. A great haircut for you is the short, pixie with wisps around the face. This style is brushed forward to de-emphasize roundness by allowing hair to fall close to your head. Now for makeup, with light brown eyes and a round face you want makeup that is going to bring out those eyes and cheeks. Try some lighter pinks, whites, and blues for the eyes. Cheeks should be in the pink family. Start your blush brush at the apple and pull back diagonally, applying more blush on the apple and giving it that sweeping motion will give the appearance of gorgeous cheeks. For your lips, go with neutral lip colors. Don’t go pink there. Get a nice mauve, or even light rouge lip color. To kick it up a notch when you’re going out, apply a red tinted lip gloss on top of your lipstick. This will make your lips look gorgeous and inviting. I have said many times before and will say always and forever that when it comes to personal beauty and style, the best remedy is play. Play in your makeup, see what you like. Your hair as well. Make sure that the haircut you get Will be one you can style it the way its cut after you leave the salon. Does it fit into your morning routine? Is it going to look bad if you can't style it? These are questions I always think people should ask when going to consult with their beautician. When it's all said and done, you should post pictures for us all to see. A new style and makeup gives inspiration to all J. Good luck!

Hi XxBlondePlaymatexX and thanks for your question.

Neutrogena foundation is actually rated very well. I know a few people who have switched to the "Healthy Skin Enhancer" (I believe that is what its called) and they love it. Rave about it. Neutrogena is a great cosmetics company and put a lot of research and development into their products. I would say give it a try. Its okay to mix your brands of makeup. You don't have to use the same brand of powder as your foundation. The difference between pressed powder and loose powder can be drastic depending on the kind you buy. If it's just going to be a brand you pick up at the local store than there isn't any real difference between them other than the finish they produce. If you get pressed powder and use the little puff they give you to apply it, then it goes on really thick and your skin can't breath. Pressed powder most use a brush, so not as much is applied to the skin. The main reason for applying powder after foundation is to remove the shine and set the foundation. Personally and professionally I use loose powder because you have more control over how much you're applying and a brush is much easier to use. I would say buy one of each try them both and see what you like best. With any kind of makeup it all comes down to what you want, what you are looking for, and what your needs are. Thanks again.

Question by ethiolula

hi, I have white skin and has many black spots and also i want to have dark skin so what can i do. And for daily skin care waht should i use. thank u

Reply by CMG

Hi ethiolua and thanks for the question. First off I would suggest you go to a dermatologist to check out the black spots. If you want to darken your skin tone by tanning, I would not recommend doing so until you get the spots checked properly. Tanning your skin may also make them more present rather than hiding them. As far as daily skin care, you want to use something according to your skin type. If you have dry skin you want to use something to hydrate it whereas if you have oily skin, then you want to use something to control the oil and so on and so forth.

Question by kitten3469

do you know of anything that will make eyelashes longer, mine are real small and mascara works but i need to find something that will make my lashes longer so i can tone down my mascara uses without looking like a spider. thanks

Hi Kitten3469 and thanks for the question.
Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is try false eyelashes. There are tons of products out there that say they make your eyelashes grow longer, stronger and thicker, but if this was the case every woman would have those lashes we all dream about. You can find false lashes for cheap. I would recommend only using the DUO lash glue. This is my favorite glue. I have found it to hold the best. False eyelashes are very easy to put on. The hardest part of it is making sure they fit right. Here is a link to false eyelash application: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7SgSBqqsLs. Good luck!

Question by rancherokitty

Hello, I have really dry skin and rarely wear makeup. I want to know if you can see any problems with applying Aquaphor under my foundation?

Reply by CMG

Hi and thanks for you question.

I don't think so. That product is mainly for your hand and elbows. The skin on your body is different then the skin on your face. The skin on your face is more delicate. If you like their products, try the Eucerin Extra Protective moisture lotion SPF 30. With this product, you get not only a great moisturizer but you get SPF protection too. Don't use this moisturizer before bedtime; You'll want to stick with one that doesn't include sun protection because you don't want added ingredients your skin doesn't need during the night. I have a client that has the same problem and she loves Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer. I would recommend trying these two products first. What ever you put on your face, you want to allow atleast 10 minutes before applying your foundation to allow your skin to absorb it. Let me know how it plays out for you. Thanks again.
